Discern wisely. Prepare well. Fund your future with confidence.
Capital campaigns make it possible for organizations to fund initiatives beyond what they can typically support through annual operations. Whether you are considering a campaign or simply exploring what it involves, the most important first step is clarity—about readiness, capacity, and fit.
Stable and Growing supports nonprofit and faith-based organizations as they discern, prepare for, and, when appropriate, move forward with capital campaigns designed for both financial success and organizational health.
A Thoughtful, Experienced Approach
All capital campaigns are referred to and managed in partnership with highly experienced firms:
- James D. Klote and Associates – serving churches and religious organizations
- Ward, Dreshman, & Reinhardt – serving nonprofit organizations
Together, these firms bring more than 120 years of combined capital campaign experience.
As part of the campaign team, I partner closely with your organization from the very beginning—guiding you through the qualification and discovery process, proposal development, and decision-making phase. If your organization chooses to proceed, a qualified capital campaign consultant (or I, when appropriate) will lead your organization through a Feasibility Study, present a readiness assessment to leadership, and—upon approval—guide the campaign itself.
Feasibility Study & Readiness Assessment
Before any campaign begins, organizations must understand whether they are truly ready.
A Feasibility Study and Readiness Assessment helps leadership:
- Assess organizational readiness and capacity
- Understand donor support and leadership alignment
- Identify strengths, risks, and areas needing attention
- Make informed decisions about timing and scope
This process ensures that a campaign is entered thoughtfully—not reactively—and sets the stage for success.
The Campaign
When an organization is ready and unified, a capital campaign can be transformational. Our approach emphasizes:
- Strong leadership alignment
- Clear communication and trust
- A realistic, well-supported goal
- Organizational health alongside financial results
Campaigns operate on a fixed weekly fee, not a percentage of funds raised. There are no additional travel and expense charges or hidden fees. This approach is not right for every organization, but when a campaign adheres to the campaign methodology and has broad support, it is often more efficient, less costly, and produces results that extend beyond the campaign itself.
